MO' Max

   We tried to let mom sleep in this morning. Worked pretty well - we were playing around in Max's bedroom. Here's some of what we were doing:

My Early Christmas Gift + Lots of Max

   While shopping we found a West Virginia outfit for less than $4. We knew we had to grab it so that we could send some "appropriate" pictures to family who are adamant WV followers. This was my favorite of the pics in the outfit. And, honestly, I'm OK with him wearing it knowing that we are a family of Kansas State Wildcats who happen to, at least this season, own the right to brag.

   I've pestered Abby for my Christmas gift. She finally relented and I ordered it from Amazon last week. It arrived on our porch Friday. What is it you ask?
   I got a DOG WASH! Awesome! I put it to good use on Autumn and Sam this afternoon. I must say it was fantastic! It brought them up to my level and I think this was the best job I've ever done while washing the dogs!

   Abby and Max took some action shots while I scrubbed away and the dogs enjoyed some one-on-one time! Here are some great shots:

   Abby thank you so much for the Christmas gift! I think you'll enjoy this one just as much as I will since it means less smelly dogs, and a much easier time washing them! Heck - I'll even let you try it on Max if you want!





   Now I also said there'd be lots of pics of Max. Here we go! We took these with an iPad while just chillaxing last weekend. Max was in great spirits and an active drooler!

   Last Summer, while mormor was visiting, we visited a garage sale. Momor splurged and got Max an activity center. We cleaned it up yesterday and put it back together today. Here is Max enjoying it!

Thanksgiving 2012

   Any holiday centered around gathering with family and friends and enjoying an incredible menu together is the best kind of holiday!

   We hosted Max's grandparents, my GA, and his girlfriend for a fantastic afternoon of food, fun, games, spittle, conversation, and lots of playing with dogs! Abby took care of most of the cooking with Beth and me finishing up a couple of things.

   Anh and Chang did a fantastic job of baby and dog-sitting while we finished up the meal! We were given the enjoyable task of introducing Chang to her first American Holiday Celebration!

   Lots of traditional foods were enjoyed including stuffing, turkey, and potatoes. Unfortunately, we were so busy enjoying the food that we didn't take any pictures! OH! - The price we pay for choosing to enjoy each others company versus taking pictures! BTW - Chang said the meal was way better than anything she has ever experienced or expected! Whew - exactly what we were hoping for!

   Abby made incredible sweet potato pie and apple pie that we enjoyed for dessert. 100% homemade and 200% delicious!

   We want to say that we are thankful for an incredible year that has brought us Max, a second great year in the 'Burg, visits from family, and the well-being and success of so many of our friends and family! There are so many people we love and miss and hope to see, speak, and visit with many of you in the upcoming year!
