ALMOST 9 and a 1/2 weeks

The young-un is getting bigger! Abby weighed herself then herself holding Max and he totaled a touch over 14 pounds. If this is true, it means he's gaining a pound just about every ten days. WOW!

I'm not sure I'm able to tell the weight difference but he is definitely getting longer! He's now more than half the pad long on our changing table.

He's been attending daycare for two weeks now and we have been benefiting! He doesn't like to sleep at daycare so he's super tired when he gets home. Essentially he eats then ZONKS. This week has been a weird one because he slept through the night on one occasion and has only been getting up once instead of the two to three times.

We visited my brother last weekend enjoying dinner and showing off Max. We enjoyed a great evening there before making a visit to Columbia Missouri. Max sported his "colors" on his visit and will be sporting them again tomorrow prior to the Oklahoma game. Here are pics from our visit with Ben & family!

Last night Max, Abby, and I enjoyed tailgating with our UCM's Hospitality Management Association. Dang the burgers were good and Max was looking "killer" in his new sunglasses. Check him out!

Today Max slept for three hours straight in one shot at daycare. Here are his 9 week-old birthday pics! He's not happy in some of them!

No worries for tomorrow. All three of us will be sporting our purple pride on the morning Heart Walk and on out trip into KC!

GO CATS!

A Full House!

And not Queens over Kings! Abby's clan came out for the Labor Day Weekend and spent time with the newest addition to the family!
Even "Great" grandma and grandpa decided to travel over 700 miles to join Abby, myself, Auntie W, Uncle R, grandma B and grandpa B. A sense of community was enjoyed by all!

We shared some great meals, some fun game time, A LOT of Max handling, WVU and Oklahoma football, and so much - just so much good (and bad for you) food!

We'll let them tell their stories by replying to this post. For now I just wanted to share some of the pictures of the great time all enjoyed.

Max went swimming with the clan. The water was a wee bit chilly for his liking - actually for all of our likings! Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service for us!

We toured one of the oldest homes in the 'burg courtesy of a fellow worker. The home was built in the 1880's/1890's.
They have undertaken a H-U-G-E amount of work re-doing the first floor ceilings, the entryway, and removing 10's of layers of paint from all the original woodwork.
We took a tour of campus (actually I needed to pick up some work from my office) and showed off our office building, the union, and our LEED certified recreation center.

Great G&G, Abby, Max, and I visited the local state park and checked out a very short trail. It was so nice to get some fresh air - but did not enjoy the temp and humidity. So our visit was pretty short.

Hi Max!

Sunday, after church, we put everyone together and took some family photos. Here are a couple of selected ones to enjoy!

Our friend Anna dropped by to take this awesome photo!

Here are some other pics from our fun-filled super Max weekend!

SHHH! He's asleep!

Have a great week all! We're returning back to normal here at two-fifteen!
